Advisory Board

The Advisory Board provides external advice to the Consortium in order to enhance the quality of GLODEP. The Board members are individuals, acting on behalf of themselves, and are not directly related to any Consortium Institution.

Jan Hesselberg

Jan Hesselberg became a professor of Development Geography at the Department of Sociology and Human Geography, Faculty of Social Science, University of Oslo, Norway, in 1985. His fields of interest are Development Theory; Global Poverty; and Small-scale Agriculture. Previously, he did research on the shift of Industrial Pollution from North to South and strategies of industrialization and development more in general. He has done extensive fieldwork in Botswana, Sri Lanka, and Cameroon. In addition, he has research collaboration, which includes fieldwork, with Ghana and India.

Petra Krylová

Petra Krylova is Senior Analyst at the Social Progress Imperative. Previously she was at the Center for Global Development where she worked on the Commitment to Development Index and Policy Coherence for Development.

 

Éric Kere

Éric Nazindigouba KERE is research economist at African Develeopment Bank (AfDB). Before joining AfDB, he was a Post-doctoral researcher at Centre d’Etude et de Recherche sur le Développement International (CERDI) of University of Auvergne (France). He was formerly a researcher and teaching assistant at University of Lorraine and French National Institute for Agricultural Research (INRA). His research interests include bioenergy, development economics, economy of risk and uncertainty, natural resource economics and environmental economics (sustainable forest and amenities management, deforestation and protected areas).  Finally he holds a PhD in environment economics and natural resources management, and a Master’s degree in applied econometrics from University of Lorraine.
